montgomery ward portable dishwasher UCO974-87a

I recently acquired a Montgomery Ward portable dishwasher (UCO974-87A). I probably won't use the right terms for things, so I apologize in advance. I received this machine in parts, and tried to put it back together, so it works, sort of, and leaks. It's forcing water out because the inlet door stays closed. Can you explain to me how it's supposed to be put together (the springs, ect, to the Drain solenoid) or at least point me in the direction of a photo of it put together?
